Bean & Barrel is an Italian-inspired mobile cafe and bar, founded by Amy in West Yorkshire.

After stepping away from corporate life, Amy travelled the world, immersing herself in a variety of cafe cultures. It was here she came to understand that coffee is not defined solely by what is in the cup, but by the connection, conversation, and sense of occasion it creates.

Inspired by a deep appreciation for coffee and community, Amy founded Bean & Barrel as a considered move away from routine and towards purpose. What began as a personal dream has evolved into a refined mobile cafe and bar, designed to elevate every occasion. Rooted in Italian culture and a slower, more intentional way of living, Bean & Barrel is not simply about the drink, but the moments shared around it.

We are proudly partnered with Dark Woods, a local Yorkshire-based roastery, to source our speciality coffee. Our Deer Hill blend is a medium-dark roast inspired by traditional Italian-style espresso, crafted from responsibly grown beans sourced from some of the world’s finest producers.

The blend combines sweet, well-balanced speciality Arabicas from South America and India, with high-quality Robusta from the award-winning Harley Estate in India, resulting in a smooth, rich and full-bodied espresso.

At Bean & Barrel, sustainability isn’t an afterthought, it’s part of everything we do. From sourcing ingredients, to serving your favourite drinks, we make mindful choices every step of the way. We prioritise local and ethical suppliers wherever possible, design our menus to minimise waste, and use compostable or recyclable packaging when available.

Our operations are built thoughtfully, with respect for both our people and the planet. With every event, we continue to refine our approach, guided by a commitment to responsible practices and continual improvement.
